Is this refrigerant new and factory sealed?
Yes. All refrigerant sold by RefrigerationGo is brand new and supplied in a securely factory-sealed cylinder. Each cylinder is prepared for safe storage and transportation, and the original seal remains intact until it is opened for use by the customer.
How do I know if this refrigerant is compatible with my system?
Check the equipment nameplate, service manual, or manufacturer specifications before purchasing. Use only the refrigerant type specified for your HVAC, refrigeration, or automotive A/C system. Do not mix different refrigerants or use a refrigerant as a drop-in replacement unless the equipment manufacturer specifically approves it.
Do I need EPA certification to purchase refrigerant?
Most refrigerants sold in cylinders for stationary air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment may be purchased only by Section 608-certified technicians, businesses that employ one, or qualified resellers. Section 609 certification applies to refrigerants for qualifying motor-vehicle A/C work. We may request certification or resale documentation before fulfilling an order.
How quickly will my refrigerant order ship?
Orders are normally processed within one business day. Standard delivery generally takes 2–5 business days after carrier pickup. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next business day. Multiple cylinders may ship separately and may have different tracking numbers.
Why does the shipping label show a different weight?
The carrier label may display an estimated, preset, dimensional, or billing weight that does not match the refrigerant net weight listed on the product page. The product listing and cylinder label show the refrigerant quantity. If you have concerns after delivery, weigh the unopened cylinder and contact us with clear photos.
How should I store and handle a refrigerant cylinder?
Follow the cylinder label and safety data sheet. Keep the cylinder upright and secured in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, flames, sparks, and other ignition sources. Refrigerant should be handled by a trained and appropriately certified technician using suitable equipment and protective gear.
What should I do if the cylinder arrives damaged or leaking?
Do not connect or use a cylinder that appears damaged, punctured, or leaking. Keep it away from heat and ignition sources, ventilate the area when it is safe to do so, and contact emergency services if there is an immediate hazard. Contact our support team promptly with your order number and clear photos of the cylinder, valve, packaging, and damaged area.
What should I do if tracking says delivered but I cannot find my order?
Review the tracking details and delivery photo, then check the delivery location, garage, side entrance, front desk, mailroom, and neighboring properties. Multi-cylinder orders may arrive in separate deliveries.
